Long term On-Going Film Project
I am working on a project that I have nicknamed “News / Divided Attention” for which I have collected material from newspapers clippings, magazines and video news as well as diary videos shot in the last twenty years in many different formats and subjects.
The purpose of the collage of those fragments is to exploit as well as mock our compulsion to indulge in multi-tasking and to rejoice in information overload. The process is about building short clips that are collaged from all those sources and will be organized randomly, creating collapsed meanings and ironic juxtapositions.
